Green Building

Buildings are currently responsible for generating 39% of global energy related carbon emissions: 28% from operational emissions, from energy needed to heat, cool and power them, and the remaining 11% from materials and construction.*

Bio360 Expo is delighted to present some of the highly innovative approaches, technologies and products coming onto the market that are already demonstrating tangible pathways today to defossilise the built environment and at the same time, open up possibilities to develop buildings as carbon sinks.

Conferences

Green Building room    take me there
8 February

Discover how agri-coproducts and residues, captured CO₂, biochar, lignin derived bio-polyurethane all present opportunities to displace building materials that are currently derived from fossil-based inputs.

These CO₂ or biobased raw inputs deliver carbon-negative asphalt with superior performance characteristics to conventional asphalt, carbon-negative concrete and building aggregates, drywall, boards and boarding, floor screeding, colour for lacquer, floor covering, window and door frames, building cladding and exterior surfaces etc.
