Highly efficient, resource-conserving and climate-positive energy generation: SynCraft, the Austrian high-tech company based in Schwaz, Tyrol, has been building and implementing climate-positive energy systems worldwide for over ten years now, generating electricity, heat and valuable biochar from forest residues. In 2020, the company was able to put as many turnkey systems into operation as in the first ten years since its founding in 2009 combined - including in Japan. Currently, the 29th system is under construction. In 2020, the company received two prestigious awards for its innovative technology, which is based on years of in-house research and development work: the "Energy Globe Award" and the "TRIGOS Award".

Le captage et stockage pyrogénique du carbone (PyCCS) est une technologie clé pour limiter le changement climatique. Il permet la capture et la séquestration du carbone atmosphérique par la carbonisation de la biomasse.

PyCCS permet de recycler pratiquement tout le carbone biogénique (biomasse), de le transférer sous une forme stable et de le transformer en un produit précieux (biochar) avec un marché existant et en croissance rapide.

Au cours de cette session, vous découvrirez les tendances de croissance du marché du biochar. Afin de maintenir les taux de croissance actuels, la mise à l'échelle de l'industrie dans son ensemble ainsi que des acteurs individuels dans le domaine doit être assurée. La session mettra en lumière la manière dont cette mise à l'échelle peut être réalisée depuis l'approvisionnement en matériaux d'entrée jusqu'à l'augmentation des systèmes en taille comme en nombre.
