Erwan Hamard a suivi des études de Sciences de la Terre à l’Université d’Orsay et de Montpellier II. Il a été recruté comme Ingénieur des Travaux Publics de l’État sur titre en 2012 à l’Université Gustave Eiffel et a concrétisé les recherches qu’il menait depuis plusieurs années sur la construction en terre crue par un doctorat en Génie Civil soutenu en 2017.
