Mariana Paredinha Araujo is a Scientist at Volta, the Electrochemistry department of Avantium. She obtained her PhD in Sustainable Chemistry in 2017, at the University of Porto (Portugal), in the field of carbon-based electrocatalysts for energy conversion and storage. After her PhD, she joined Avantium, where she has been working in several projects dedicated to the electrochemical conversion of CO2 to added value chemicals.
