Christopher MARLAND
Business Development Specialist
PDEX Consulting
I'm a Chemical Engineer with 25 years of experience across upstream oil & gas, oil refining, gas processing, petrochemicals, and waste-to-energy.
I operate at the intersection of the technical, economic, and execution disciplines—turning complex opportunities into viable projects. My background spans research, engineering, operations management, engineering, linear programming and optimisation, economics and investment analysis, new-ventures development and functional management.
Currently focused on waste-to-energy, I lead concept evaluation and project development in biogas and pyrolysis, progressing opportunities from conception through to bankable projects and delivery.
I am also the co-founder of a small-scale biogas business, focused on developing, installing and supporting cost-effective and successful systems.
My experience includes functional management and leading cross-disciplinary teams, with specific strengths in business and project integration, techno-economics, and optimisation.
I’m driven by the conceptualisation and effective development and execution of projects that deliver tangible benefits for both people and planet.
