Wezzie is the Customer Experience and Programs Manager at Green Impact Technologies, a company at the forefront of clean energy access in Malawi and Zambia. She holds a Master's degree in Integrated Water Resources Management from the University of Zimbabwe.
Her background in water and sanitation is more than a foundation it is directly relevant to the work she does today. At GIT, this expertise informs how the company converts organic market waste into biogas for clean cooking energy and bio slurry for agricultural use turning what was once a waste management problem into a circular economy solution for market vendors and smallholder farmers alike.
She will share the lessons learnt from GIT's experience in commercializing biogas systems in Malawi offering honest reflections and practical insights into what it takes to scale waste-to-energy models.
